Darrell Lee Palmer

Darrell lived his life to the fullest. He showed many of us that life is to be lived over anything else. Darrell was always up for a good time especially if that included outdoor activities and involved the ones he loved. Darrell was filled with charisma and charm but most of all heart. His heart gave him the strength to be a man that had no fear, which allowed him to openly and willing to fight for what he loved and the ones he loved. He had a deep appreciation for music, with a rock and roll heart and a country soul. Engaging in conversations with him was something we all looked forward to, especially if those stories were from his past. His joyful laugh was contagious, and he had a knack for teasing those around him. Darrell showed us the only thing that mattered in life was his family. He made sure to always keep in contact, telling his son's how proud he was and his daughter's how beautiful they are. He took pride in all of their accomplishments every time he saw or spoke to them. His deep connection with his grandchildren made them all feel loved, heard and seen. Most of all he gave them hope by encouraging them to never give up on their dreams just because they are "dreams" Darrell gave love but he was also very loved. Through all of his ups and downs, his wife, Vicki Mitchell was right there by his side. They were each others ride or die and have been inseparable from the moment they met in 2007. He knew how blessed he was to have found his other half, their love will last on. He truly was an incredible son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend! Our world will not be the same without him. He loved with all his heart, and his family has countless cherished memories of their time spent with him. He had no wrong doing undone, nothing broken that needed mending, leaving this world his true authentic self. As dad would say to us all.... engowanahkimba Darrell was survived by his loving partner what we all see as his wife, Vicki Mitchell His children and grandchildren: Trever Palmer (son), Conner, Kayci and Jewell Palmer (grandchildren) Jesse Palmer (son), Brittany(wife) KayLee, Myles and Khloe Palmer (grandchildren) Ashlee Palmer (Daughter), Angalee Walker (granddaughter) Brandon Palmer Schaeffer (son), Kristyna (wife) Malachi, Layla, and Trinity(grandchildren) is siblings: Kim (Dallas), Merrilee (Roy), Randy (Ivetth), Steven (Jennifer), and Sarah (Isaac). Darrell was preceded in death by many family and friends including, his father, Doran Palmer. his mother, Earlene Peterson, his stepfather, Pete Peterson, his siblings, Swede Peterson and Sandy Tello, and his dear friend, Victor Himes. Throughout his life, Darrell explored various trades, but he primarily worked in flooring and carpet laying. (celebration of Darrell's life will take place on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 3:30 PM Serenity Funeral Home, located in Bluffdale, Utah, will be assisting with Darrell's services.
