Donna Lucy Nelson “Beebe” Hunsaker January 3, 1928 – July 20, 2014 Donna Lucy Nelson Hunsaker was born January 3, 1928 in Brigham City, Utah to David Rufo and Gladys Evans Nelson, and passed peacefully away July 20, 2014 to be reunited with her sweetheart and eternal companion, Don. “Beebe” graduated from Box Elder High School and attended Utah State and Weber State before marrying Don C Hunsaker August 3, 1951 in the LDS Logan Temple. They started their family in Honeyville, Utah and later moved to Holbrook, Arizona where they raised their five children. After returning to Utah, Beebe accompanied Don to preside over the Arizona Holbrook Mission, where Sister Hunsaker was greatly loved by the hundreds of Elders and Sisters with whom she served. After Don’s retirement, Elder and Sister Hunsaker served as Missionaries at the LDS Church Headquarters, then enjoyed life together with their children and grandchildren at their Utah and Arizona homes until Don’s passing in 2007. Beebe dearly missed Don every day since. Beebe’s life was one of service—to her family, to her neighbors, to God and his children where ever she met them. She believed it was her calling to lift others and bring happiness to those around her. It was easy for her to laugh, to be kind, to love unconditionally and through every phase of her life, she never lost sight of the things that matter most. Her family will “always remember” her pure love for them, and look forward to that day when they’ll all be together again. Donna is survived by her five children, Brad (Denton) Hunsaker of San Diego, Jeri (Kevan) Allbee of Orem, Scott (Jannalee) Hunsaker of Salt Lake City, Michelle (Tim) Hampton of Gilbert Arizona and Christine (Michael) Spiro of Mesa Arizona, 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Barbara. Beebe was preceded in death by her parents and brother Cordell. A viewing will be held Friday, July 25th 9:00-10:30 AM. Funeral Services follow at 11:00 AM. Friends and family are invited to join us at the Little Cottonwood 16th Ward Building, 6350 Rodeo Lane, (approx. 6350 South 1500 East) Salt Lake City. Interment will be at the Murray City Cemetery.
