Jayden MacKenzie Boysun

On Sunday, October 16, 2022, our first-born son, Jayden Boysun, and friend died tragically in a motorcycle accident while riding in the American Fork, Canyon in Utah. Jayden was born on Father’s day, June 20, 1999, in Boise, Idaho, to his proud parents, Rod and Lorie Boysun. Jayden’s early years were filled with creative adventures that kept his family moving. He was loved deeply by his parents, siblings, grandparents, aunt, uncle, cousins, friends, co-workers, and all who met him. At a very young age, he developed his independence in many aspects While living in the mountains of Idaho City, Idaho, his love for the outdoors bloomed. He spent the next 20 years with time in Virginia and then in Utah, living life passionately and enjoying the great outdoors. Jayden had an innate ability and desire to dismantle and rebuild anything he could get his hands on. He did so with ease and a sense of pride. Jayden’s love for athletics began in fifth grade when he began playing football. He played until his junior year of High School. Jayden began working at age 15 for Les Schwab tires, bucking tires, and cleaning the shops. He eventually worked his way up to a mechanic. He transitioned to and finished his career at Big-O Tires. He learned everything he could within the industry. His passion for the auto industry carried over to his personal life when he bought his Nissan 350Z. He called his parent to drive it home because he didn’t know how to drive a manual. He learned to drive it quickly and his auto passion continued and just this year began his own jet ski rental company. There wasn’t much he couldn’t do. He had an entrepreneurial spirit devoted to moving ahead in life. He bought his first home at age 21 where he spent countless hours working to remodel it. He chased his dreams passionately, including fly-fishing, snowboarding, duck hunting, golfing, cooking, and traveling. Jayden loved all animals but especially his English retriever, Bentley Cowboy Boysun. He will be deeply missed by countless friends and family members. He is survived by his parents Rod and Lorie Boysun, Twin brother and sister Jake and Sadie Boysun, grandparents Connie Dwight Burgess, David and Debbie Burgess, aunt Julie Hawkins and uncles Keith Boysun and Chris Hawkins, cousins Jordyn and Brennan Ellsworth and Trent and Paige Hawkins.
