Linda Jean Neale James

Holladay, UT - Linda Jean Neale James, 61, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, returned to her Heavenly Father in the early morning of March 7th with her husband by her side after final battle of pancreatic cancer. She was born in Wichita, Kansas on October 31, 1960 and adopted by Robert F. Neale and Beverly Webb Neale. The family moved to Salt Lake City, Utah when she was 7 and settled in Holladay. She was educated there and graduated from Cottonwood High School. She went on to work in nursing, banking, and as an administrative assistant. Her greatest joy was her family. Following a life-threatening auto accident all she wanted was to raise her boys. She completed this with her faith and promise to her Father in Heaven. It was not an easy path but she endured many surgeries and constant pain with dignity. Her final battle with cancer; she took on and out lived many estimates. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. She and Louis along with their sons were sealed in the Logan Temple. She enjoyed doing all types of crafts, collecting Hull pottery, restoring antiques and cooking. Linda is survived by her loving husband, Louis; parents: Robert & Beverly Neale; sibling; David (Cheri) Neale, children; Heather (Bryon) Young, Desiree’ (Chris) Anscomb, Robert James and Richard James. She also adored her grand babies. She was proceeded in death by her daughter, LeeAnna Eaves-Blum. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 15 at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 15120 S Noell Nelson Drive, Bluffdale, UT. A viewing will be held at the same address on Monday 14, 6:00 pm-8:00 pm and prior to the service, 9:30 am –10:45 am. Interment will be at Kaysville Cemetery. Those attended are invited to bring a single flower for her. Funeral services will be streamed for those unable to attend in person or wishing to attend virtually.
