Peta Wolfgramm Hansen

Peta Wolfgramm Hansen, 67, gracefully returned to our Heavenly Father on January 29, 2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on Jan 6, 1949, in Nukualofa, Tongatapu, Tonga to the late Makanesi and Waterlily Wolfgramm. Peta married Robert Rudolph Hansen on July 24, 1971 and were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. Peta was a woman of many talents. In her early years, she developed a special talent for Polynesian dancing. As the years passed, she also developed a love for singing with her husband Robert. They enjoyed sharing their musical abilities with others. Peta was known for making every holiday festive for her loved ones. She was a passionate gardener, known for her intricate flower gardens. Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many, who have been touched by her constant nurturing love and faith. She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served in various church callings including Relief Society President and dedicated Ward Chorister. She magnified her callings and served with her whole heart. She possessed a strong testimony and was diligent in living the gospel in all aspects of her life. Peta was a devoted daughter, nurturing sister, loving wife, comforting mother and grandmother, and a loyal friend to many. She is survived by her husband Robert Hansen Sr., and children, Zodiac Wolfgramm, Anthony (Eleni) Hansen, Robert (Sarah) Hansen, Melinda (J.R.) Lutali, Moana Hansen, Raymond (Kaelissa) Hansen, and Frederick (Coral) Hansen. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Her sisters Deseret Leo and Lose Fifita. Brothers Ramon Sanft, James E. Wolfgramm, Legrand Wolfgramm, Weldon Wolfgramm, Ensign Wolfgramm, and John T. Wolfgramm. Preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. Viewings will be held on Sunday, February 7th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm and Monday, February 8th from 9:00am to 10:45am at the LDS Pioneer Stake Center located at 1401 West 700 South, Salt Lake City, Utah 84104. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00am, and the burial to follow at the Redwood Memorial Cemetery on 6500 S Redwood Rd., West Jordan, UT 84123. Services will be held under the direction of Peni Malohifo’ou of the Serenity Funeral Home. We give special thanks to the Huntsman Cancer Hospital staff for caring for her since October 2015.
