Shaun Andrew Dudley

Shaun Andrew Dudley, 54, passed away on July 28, 2024, in Riverton, Utah. He was born October 22, 1969, in Provo, Utah to Richard John Dudley and Anne Kehl Dudley. Shaun always believed if you wanted something, you needed to put in the work to get it. He started working at the age of 13 at Alpine Country Club. When he turned 18 years old, he went to work for his Uncle Rick at Core Cut, Inc for a couple of years before returning to Alpine Country Club as their assistant Green Superintendent. This life experience has always shown in his meticulously kept yard. He was obsessed with speed and anything with tires which led him to venture into the auto industry. He was employed at Gene Harvey Chevrolet and Larry Miller Chevrolet as a salesman. "Nothin’s better than a Chevy". After a while, the car salesman life was not fast paced enough for him. The "Bigger is always better" motto moved him into changing careers. He went to work for Western Rentals transporting heavy equipment. This path led him to a long-term career working in the Construction industry. He was employed with Clark Concrete and Excavation, Kelly's Excavation, Reynolds Excavating and then finally landing with Newman's Construction where he had built a long-lasting relationship, as a Foreman over the past 20 years. He taught his son RJ how to operate equipment and prepared him to follow in his footsteps. They were able to spend the past year working side by side. Shaun was very proud of his son and loved him deeply. Shaun’s grandchildren meant the world to him. He was wrapped around their fingers from the moment they came into his life. He taught them how to ride dirt bikes, operate equipment, and live life to the fullest. They were partners in crime, always making crazy plans for their next adventure together, laughing, and making memories that will be cherished forever. Shaun was filled with the extreme desire to possess all things fast. He built lifted trucks, lowriders, dirt bikes, street bikes, and pretty much anything with tires in his spare time. Shaun never sat still. He was in perpetual motion at all times. He lived life "full throttle-wide open.” He was a wild soul that couldn’t be tamed. Shaun enjoyed riding his Harley, blasting music, and doing burnouts. He passed away doing what he loved and will be forever riding free. He is survived by his son RJ (Tiffaney), his grandchildren Kynadee, Rydger, and Rextyn, his mother Anne, his brother Chris (Brenda) and nephews Jordan and Collin. He is preceded in death by his dad Richard John Dudley.
