Annette Hansen Mower

Annette Hansen Mower, 65, of Taylorsville, Utah was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed away peacefully on October 22, 2024, surrounded by her family, after a courageous five-year battle with cancer. She was born on July 30, 1959, in Caldwell, Idaho, to Ruth Mae Hansen and Dean Hansen. She spent her early years on a farm in Parma, Idaho where she found her love for animals. She admired horses and excelled in barrel racing. Annette married the love of her life, Wayne Mower, on September 30, 1995. Together, they created a beautiful blended family of 12 children. Their life was filled with love, laughter, struggles, triumphs and most importantly cherished memories. Throughout her life, Annette held several positions until she found her passion for caregiving. She spent the last 20 years working as a hospice CNA. She was very conscientious in serving her patients with dignity, respect and true compassion. Annette's greatest joy came from spending time with the people she loved, whether at gatherings, enjoying lunch together, working on crafts, sewing quilts, simply chatting on the phone and traveling. Her favorite place to visit was Hawaii with her best friend Kathy. Annette considered all her children to be her greatest accomplishment and was proud of their individuality, strength, courage and success. She brightened the lives of all who knew her and will be deeply missed. May she rest in peace, and may the memories of her love and kindness live on in the hearts of those who cherish her. She is survived by her husband Wayne Mower, children: Angie(Chris) Boone, Hollie Hatch, Wayne(Tiffany) Mower, Rachel(Brandon) Taylor, Amy(Jacob) Young, Emily(Richard) Vickery, James(Hayley) Hatch, Allen(Becky) Mower, Nicholas(Kalli) Mower, Les(Heather) Mower, Haley Mower(Ziv), Haden Mower(Mareni). Grandkids: Alisa, Andre, Antony, Ayva, Ayva, Baylee, Braxton, Brylee, Caitlyn, Carter, Christina, Evalynn, Ezri, Hunter, Jaucalyn, Jayden, Josey, Kaya, Kayson, Khloe, Lacie, Liam, Makayla, Natalie, Olivia, Rye, Tanner, Taten, Tavis, Trey, Wayne and many other dear family and friends. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr Yarrish, Dr Havard and Canyon home care and hospice for their phenomenal care. Kim, Shawna, Jeri, and Ann are angels that walk among us. A celebration of life will be held on November 9th between 5-7pm at 3555 W 5620 S Taylorsville Utah.
