Our Heavens and Fonua celebrate your return, replenishing her soft fine sands with our ancestors. Our beloved Father, Grandfather, and Husband, John Liveili Ahokovi, passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at 5:23pm, surrounded by his beautiful wife, children, and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, and his brothers, Uasi and Casaloma Ahokovi. He is survived by his eternal companion, Elsie Wolfgramm Ahokovi, his 9 children; Hetili (Mele), John (late Kalei), David, Koki (Tavake), Aloha (Pita), Losapina (Taylor), Pauliasi (Teresa), Luana, Lisitina (Tukia), his 33 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and four sisters; Losapina Maile, Lisitina Moa, Aloha Ngauamo, Suesi Koloamatangi. Liveili was born on August 14, 1946 to Pauliasi Latu Ahokovi and Malia Fakatafa’i Moana Koki Kupu Ahokovi, in Nuku’alofa, Tongatapu, Tonga. He is the third oldest child of seven children. He was blessed with many talents such as carpentry, construction work, and cooking. He found his passion in truck driving for 40 years, spending the best 10 years as an owner operator, team driving across the country with his wife. Liveili was a very social person, making friends came easy to him. With his hilarious stories and jokes, conversations never ended, life lessons were learned, as friendships built over his lifetime. He spent majority of his life, living the American dream, while staying deeply rooted to his Tongan ancestry, as he continued to build his legacy, an ocean away. Liveili was a God-fearing man, who loved and respected his family. He will be greatly missed by so many. Their memories will become stories that will live on Forever.
