Judy Lee Lynch

Judy Lee (Frankland) Lynch, age 73, passed away on Saturday April 4th, 2026, with her loving husband and family by her side. Judy was born on December 20, 1952 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Beverly and John Frankland. She was born 3rd of six children. As a young child, Judy took pride in knowing that she received the first successful pediatric open heart surgery and her family is forever grateful for the miracle the surgery proved to be for the rest of her life. Judy married Tura Melvin Aldous Jr on February 16th 1972. Together they had 3 daughters; Tracy, Heather and Kimberly. They later divorced. She then welcomed Amanda and Justin to her family. She was proud of each of her children for their unique talents of which she claimed to give us personally. Judy loved to call each of her kids regularly just to check in and express her love and how much she admired their families. Judy married her love, Charles John Lynch on February 4th 2015. They spent many years together sharing their love of fishing, football and most of all, family. Chuck and Judy took turns caring for each other over the years but Chuck always doted on his “Honey” any chance he could. Judy was known as someone who always knew how to have fun and make friends with strangers. She had a gullible personality that all of her children happily exploited, and with her good humor, she allowed them to get away with. Her no-filter attitude made people laugh while also catching a few people off guard. She was also known for going through all of her children's names before saying the right one. Judy had a great love for all of her grandchildren and loved watching each of them grow and learn new things. She had a few nicknames that some of her grandkids called her, such as Grandma Bob and Jeffery. Judy was a devoted fan of her NFL team, the Kansas City Chiefs. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, and doing anything crafty, as well as working on her word search puzzles. Judy loved a good family dinner followed by a craft while visiting and laughing. She loved camping, fishing, and sitting by the campfire listening to music with Chuck at Strawberry Reservoir. She always said that was one of the places that made her happy. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Lynch; her children: Tracy (Brent) Martinez, Heather (Jason) Walker, Kimberly (Benjamin) Falkner, Amanda (Sione) Pauni, and Justin (Allison) Sequaptewa; grandchildren: Alex (Chip), Michael (Marcela), Camron (Caylla), Alec, Jay, Teancum, Sidnee, Fisher, Xavier, Abigail, Carter, Blake, Charlee, and Dylan; as well as great grandchildren: Samantha and Loki. She is also survived by her siblings: Sharry Fellows, Ruth (Dan) Pope, Jackie Maxfield, John (Debbie) Frankland, and Deanne Wiggins. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Skippy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Beverly and John Frankland. A celebration of life service will be held with her family. Her love, laughter and presence will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
