Pisila-Lupe Fangupo Po’oi January 7th 1945 - October 1st 2021 On Friday evening, October 1st 2021, Pisila-Lupe Fangupo Po’oi 76 years of age, of West Valley Utah graduated with her angel wings & moved to her Heavenly home. Pisila-Lupe was a godly woman who loved the Lord and was indeed one of his most faithful servants’. This example she set and instilled in her family for her children, grandchildren and fellow brothers & sisters in Christ. Pisila-Lupe was born in Hikutamole – ‘Utungake, Vava’u, Kingdom of Tonga to the late Timote Tavakesina and ‘Ilaisaane Lautala Fangupo. She was married for 48 years to Takitoa Samiu Po’oi of Felemea Ha’apai Tonga Pisila-Lupe loved her Savior, the Lord Jesus, with all her heart, and she loved God’s Word. Though she was a humble, gentle woman, Pisila-Lupe was nonetheless a powerful prayer warrior, and only heaven knows what a wonderful and eternal impact all her many years of faithful praying have had on her family, her friends, and the world at large. She was a founding member of the Ponsonby Tongan Methodist Church in Auckland New Zealand, also a Pioneer in the Free Wesleyan Church S.U.T.T of Tonga, she was a loving and adored member of the Free Wesleyan Church in Utah & will be dearly missed by all. The family will receive friends and the extended family on Thursday, October 7th 2021 from 10am onwards at their family home. There will be a service of thanksgiving for her life on Saturday, October 9th at 8:00am – 1:00pm at church the Free Wesleyan Church of Tonga in Utah, followed by her burial at 2:00pm Memorial Redwood Cemetery at 2:00pm. Pisila-Lupe is survived by her husband, Takitoa Samiu Po’oi, her eldest daughter Masaley and husband Dietmar Tongia, their son Taniela, her second daughter ‘Emeline and her son William Po’oi, also her youngest and only son Lopiseni, wife ‘Ana and six children – Lopiseni jr, Arohanui, Falahola he ‘otu Kinekina, Takitoa, Malia and Tavake. As well as her siblings, Uata Vaihola Fangupo, Kinania Fangupo, Ovaleni Fangupo, Langatotoa Tatafu and Siotame Sau Fangupo.
