Siotame Sau Fangupo

Siotame Sau Fangupo was born January 21, 1987 to Kinania Fetokoniaki and Toakesa Lomu Fangupo. On the morning of February 7, 2023 Sau gathered all his family and friends to LDS Hospital to escort him home where he later passed with all his loved ones by his side. At just 36 years old he has redefined courage and loyalty for so many in his path. Sau was a natural born leader, and the simplicity of his leadership style will be remembered forever. He had a gift for the ability to bring people together and such a charisma about him that naturally made everyone want to be around him. He had many accomplishments in his life, but the one that he was the proudest of happened on February 25, 2012, when he married the love of his life Suliana Amelia Lola. They went on to have their 5 beautiful children Suzi, Kina, Namu, Ova, and Fane Fifita. Through Sau’s example we learn that he mapped the upbringing of his greatest accomplishment by the way he kept up his relationships with everyone in his path. It is no question by Sau’s life story that our every step is ordered. Even in our panic to change HIS plans, what was meant to be will always be. 8,100,000 transplanted stem cells represented to his family seeds, hope, opportunities, chances, the list can go on forever but in true “SAUlidness” even at such a large number the Lord shows us that his imprint was meant to be his own. The struggle in losing a lion like Sau is that all his ties are forced to carry on by his example. We are reminded by his life that there is no accomplishment of anything if we hold back, in everything we do we must always follow through and be “SAUlid” Sau is preceded in death by his Ma, Ilaisa’ane Lautala and Mothers’ Kalolaine Katea, Alisi Namupau’u and Pisila Lupe and he is survived by his wife Suliana Amelia Lola Wolfgramm; his children Susana Fisiihone, Kinania Fetokoniaki, Alisi Namupau’u Mele Losiaane, Ovaleni Laione, and Fane Fifita; his parents Kinania Fetokoniaki Fangupo and Toakesa Lomu Fangupo; his siblings Alisi Namupau’u Fangupo, Kinania Fetokoni’aki Jr [Christina Tuiasoa], Ovaleni [Monica Makai], Timote, Tevita Tonga [Kiki Moala], Mosese [Tania Lozano], Siosiana and countless nieces and nephews that loved and adored Sau as their 2nd Dad.
