Suzzanna Jones Greer

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Suzzanna (Suzzie) Jones Greer, who unexpectedly passed on June 7, 2025, at the age of 74. She was surrounded by her family, as she peacefully departed in Lindon, Utah. Suzzie was born on July 23, 1950, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ronald and Johanna (Hofman) Jones. Her childhood was spent in Salt Lake City with her loving family. She graduated from Skyline High School in 1968. She graduated from Cal State Fullerton with a degree in interior design. Suzzie was exceptionally creative. She loved to share her creativity with others. She spent hours making delightful scrapbooks for each of her children. They were beautifully crafted and filled with photos and memories of their times together as a family, their individual accomplishments, and more. Suzzie used her interior design degree to create a welcoming and attractive home for her family and enjoyed decorating and celebrating every holiday season. Suzzie was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held positions in Primary, Relief Society and Young Women. She especially loved working with the Young Women. She also worked to assist her daughters in achieving their Young Women Medallions, and she was instrumental in helping her sons receive their Eagle Scout Awards. Above all, Suzzie loved her family. She is survived by her adoring children, Katrina (Justin) Ricks, Kristina (Brigham) Christensen, Johanna Greer, Andrew (Amanda) Greer, Matthew Greer, Kolawat (Stacie) Greer, all of whom she shared with her former spouse, Thomas Greer. She loved her 19 grandchildren, (Tanner, Anna, Carter, Natalie, Kylie (Jeff) Andy, Lacy, Case, Janie, Sophie, Keira, Lily, Avery, Archer, Brantley, Kailey, Lucy, Jasmine, Arlo). In addition to her children and grandchildren, Suzzie is survived by her brothers, William (Patricia) Jones, Terry (Heather) Jones, Alan (Kristen) Jones, John (Denece) Jones and her sister Julie Bateman. Suzzie will always be remembered as a devoted mother, talented homemaker, and for her desire to be a devoted daughter of our Heavenly Father. The funeral service will be on Friday, June 13 at 10:30 A.M. at the Alpine 8th Ward, 890 Heritage Hills Dr, Alpine, Utah. A viewing will take place prior, from 9:30 A.M. to 10:15 A.M. at the same location. The interment will be at the Alpine City Cemetery, 400 Grove Dr, Alpine, Utah.
