Talitha Kaye Teuscher Whitehead

Our beloved sister, aunt, and cherished friend, was reunited with her parents and sweetheart on April 22, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Talitha was born on January 14, 1968, in Murray, Utah. She was a deeply loved and adored daughter of Talvin and Karolyn Teuscher. She was raised in a home filled with warmth, faith, and strong family ties that she carried with her throughout her life. She graduated from American Fork High School in 1986 and soon after ventured to Washington, D.C., where she worked as a nanny—an early reflection of her nurturing spirit and love for children. On March 22, 1990, she married Keith Pulley; their marriage later ended in divorce. Talitha married the love of her life, John Mark Whitehead on September 20, 2013 A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Talitha lived her faith through quiet service, compassion, and unwavering kindness. Her life was a reflection of her testimony and her desire to lift and serve those around her. Family meant everything to Talitha. She treasured every moment spent with her loved ones—whether at lively family gatherings, game nights, or reunions. She was especially devoted to her nieces and nephews, faithfully attending their concerts, sporting events, and competitions. She celebrated their accomplishments and supported them with enthusiasm and pride, leaving each of them with lasting memories of her love. Talitha had a generous heart and a deep commitment to helping others. If there was ever a need, she was among the first to step forward, offering her time, talents, and compassion. She found great joy in humanitarian service and in making a difference, no matter how big or small. She also embraced life’s simple pleasures. Talitha loved camping, scenic drives, and off-roading adventures in her Jeep. She had a creative spirit and enjoyed arts and crafts, including sewing, crocheting, and cross-stitching. A lover of stories, she found comfort in reading and enjoyed watching movies—especially murder mysteries, thrillers, and horror films. Talitha is survived by her sisters, Karol (Richard) McMullin, Rashele (Duaine) Naylor, and Raylyn (Mike) Poulson; her brother, Kirk (Kristine) Teuscher; and her beloved nieces and nephews, Cayden (Emma) Naylor, Jared (Jannon) Naylor, Adam (Kennedy) McMullin, Aubrey Poulson, Emily Naylor, Luke McMullin, Ella Poulson, and Henry Poulson. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; parents, and her brother, Scott Teuscher. Talitha will be remembered for her warmth, her selflessness, her steady presence, and the deep love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched and in the family she cherished so deeply. The family would like to thank Talitha’s hospice nurse Marion for her care and concern shown to Talitha. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at the Hillcrest 5th Ward Chapel, 680 North 350 West, American Fork, Utah. Family and friends may call from 9:00 to 10:30 am on Tuesday at the church prior to services. Interment will be at the American Fork City Cemetery.
