Teresa De Jesus Lopez Español: Teresa de Jesus Lopez dejó esta vida terrenal a la edad de 69 años el 28 de agosto de 2021 en su hogar en West Valley City Utah. Nació en Arriaga, Chiapas México el día 15 de Octubre de 1952. Fue hija de Ramon Lopez Moreno y María Magdalena Osuna Torres. Fue la tercera de cuatro hermanas y dos hermanos (Rosa,Lourdes,Flor, Malena, Ramon, y Eduardo). A la edad de aproximadamente 8 años ella junto con su mamá y hermanos se fueron a vivir a Ciudad de México. En 1974 fue cuando conoció al que después llegaría a ser su futuro esposo Gilberto Hernández Garnica. Se casaron el 19 de septiembre de 1977 en la Ciudad de México. Juntos tuvieron cuatro hijos: Teresa, Samuel(Katie), Guadalupe, y Adan. En 1981 junto con su esposo se bautizaron Miembros De la Iglesia de Jesucristo De los Santos de los Últimos Días. En el año 1990 la familia Hernández emigraron juntos al estado de Nueva York en Estados Unidos donde llegaron a vivir por 23 años y después se mudaron al estado de Utah donde continuaron viviendo hasta el presente. Teresa y Gilberto junto con su familia se sellaron como familia eterna el 24 de Mayo 1996 en el templo de Washington D.C. Teresa siempre fue una mujer que siempre se preocupaba por el bienestar de su familia en especial que comieran y que terminaran todo lo que se les servía su expresión siempre era “nada de sobras.” Otra de sus características era de negociar tradicionalmente a la manera originaría (Arriaga Chiapas) que es de hacer tamales y chiles en vinagre y venderlos. Para mantener la alegría en una conversación familiar y de amistad le gustaba contar chistes. Le gustaba mucho darles de comer a los misioneros y es recordada por cada uno de ellos por los platillos tradicionales que ella les hacía. Ella llegó a ser una abuela muy amorosa donde sus nietos (Jahir, Jasmine, Priscilla, Gilberto, Benjamin, Maisy y David) siempre les gustaba darle besitos a su abuelita. Ella se esforzaba por tener una sonrisa no importando la situación. Para muchas de sus amistades y en especial para su familia será recordada como una mujer que fue un ejemplo de humildad y fe y dedicada a la obra de nuestro padre Celestial y que su familia aprendiera con ella. Se llevará a cabo una visita para todos los que gusten acompañar a la familia el día Miércoles 1 de Septiembre de 2021 comenzando a las 6pm seguido por un servicio de celebración de la vida de Teresa a las 7pm. Todo se llevará a cabo en el edificio de La Iglesia de Jesucristo de Los Santos de los Últimos Días: 2101 W 3100 S West Valley City, Utah 84119. English Teresa de Jesus Lopez left this earthly life at the age of 69 on August 28, 2021 at her home in West Valley City Utah. She was born in Arriaga, Chiapas Mexico on October 15, 1952. She was the daughter of Ramon Lopez Moreno and María Magdalena Osuna Torres. She was the third of four sisters and two brothers (Rosa, Lourdes, Flor, Malena, Ramon, and Eduardo). At the age of approximately 8 years she, along with her mother and siblings, went to live in Mexico City. In 1974 she met the one who later became her future husband Gilberto Hernández Garnica. They were married on September 19, 1977 in Mexico City. Together they had four Children Teresa, Samuel (Katie), Guadalupe, and Adan. In 1981, together with her husband they were baptized members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In 1990 the Hernández family emigrated together to the state of New York in the United States where they lived for 23 years and then moved to the state of Utah where they continue to live to this day. Teresa and Gilberto along with their family were sealed as an eternal family on May 24, 1996 in the Washington D.C. temple. Teresa was a woman who always cared about the well-being of her family. Especially that they eat and that they finish everything they were served; her expression was always "no leftovers." She loved to cook traditionally in the style of Arriaga Chiapas, which is to make tamales and pickled peppers and sell them. To keep the joy in a family conversation and friendship she loved to tell jokes. She loved feeding the missionaries and is remembered by each of them for the traditional dishes that she made for them. She became a very loving grandmother where her grandchildren (Jahir, Jasmine, Priscilla, Gilberto, Benjamin, Maisy, and David) always liked to kiss their grandmother. She never struggled to have a smile no matter what the situation. For many of her friends and especially for her family she will be remembered as a woman who was an example of humility and faith and dedicated to the work of our Heavenly Father and that she made sure her family learned with her. A viewing will be held for all those who like to accompany the family on Wednesday, September 1 2021, beginning at 6pm followed by a service celebrating Teresa's life at 7pm. Everything will take place in the building of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints: 2101 W 3100 S West Valley City, Utah 84119.
