Travis Richard Fredericks

Travis Richard Fredericks returned to his Heavenly Father on April 28, 2024, at his home in Kaysville, Utah, after surviving cancer for 14 years. He was born July 1, 1981, in Ogden, Utah to Richard and Darlene Fredericks. Travis grew up in Kaysville and attended Davis High School where he loved playing his trumpet. He enjoyed watching all sports and was a devoted Broncos Fan. He went on to serve a mission in Dallas Texas for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He loved serving the people of Texas. February 26, 2004, he was sealed to his best friend, Stacy Taggart, in the Salt Lake Temple, for time and all eternity. They were blessed with three amazing children, Aiden, Laycee, and Hunter. At 28 Travis was diagnosed with colon cancer. He never gave up the fight and tried everything possible to buy all the time he could to live longer for his family. He endured countless surgeries, pain, chemo all so selflessly for his family. Travis had a radiant personality and he uplifted those he met. He was a kind, caring, accepting, genuine friend. We adored him! Throughout his cancer he never stopped making everyone around him laugh and smile. He was talented at everything he put his mind to. He was an incredible father, friend, and husband. His life was filled with many interests including reading, playing games, and watching TV, but his favorite was his wife and three amazing children. Travis is survived by his loving wife, Stacy, and their three children: Aiden, Laycee, and Hunter. They miss their husband and father very much and look forward in faith to the time when they can be together forever. He is also survived by his parents, Richard and Darlene Fredericks, in-laws, siblings, nieces, nephews, and countless friends. Funeral services will be held on May 3 at 10 am at the Kaysville, Utah Central Stake Center 555 North 100 East, Kaysville, Utah 84037. Viewing will be on May 2 from 6 to 8 pm and May 3 from 9 to 10 am at the Kaysville Utah Central Stake Center. Interment will be in the Kaysville Cemetery.
