Valentino "Tino" Martinez

Valentino “Tino” Anastacio John Martinez born to Bernadette Martinez on May 26, 1994 was called home to be with the lord on October 17, 2023. Although it may seem unfair to us here on earth, you gained your angel wings and God called you home for your big trip. Tino, you were the life of the party, an example of what family, love, selflessness, bravery, a warrior, and a pure hearted person is. You put smiles on faces, made us all laugh and loved everybody. Especially all your babies. You fought a battle many would have given up on. Thank you for being the most amazing son, brother, friend, and cousin in our family. To know Tino was to know love; he exampled what “family over everything” meant because he loved his family whole heartedly. Tino loved to cook his meals which were made with love and much goodness. Tino loved God, his family, his siblings, his Steelers, and his cat Kasper. Tino looked up to his little “big” bro Victor who was his “best friend” and his “back bone”. Victor took him to live out his biggest dream going to Pittsburgh and watch his Steelers play at a home game. He was truly so happy and so grateful he got to go. He loved his sister who he always called “Mama Ness” and his brother Vincent “Vinny”. He loved his momma Bernadette more than anything. Tino loved his little cousins who he called “his babies”. Javi, Juju, Daizee, and “sister” AJ. He watched them grow up and always kept a special place in his heart for them. Tino loved his grandma Linda, aunts, uncles, and cousins and so many more. His love shined so bright. Tino went home to the Lord singing “Way Maker”. Tino had a heart on fire for God and would always say “God gots me”. God has you T and I can only imagine how happy you are with him. Tino knew God’s love for him and was able to experience God’s peace and love in his final days. He leaves behind his Sister Vanessa Martinez, his brothers Victor Monrreal, Vincent Monrreal, and Anthony Monrreal-Martinez. Many cousins, aunts, uncles. Preceded in death by his grandfather Benny Martinez; Uncles John Martinez, Pj Martinez, and so many more. Fly high with the angels friend, cousin, son & brother. You will never be forgotten, T. Your memory will live on. We love you and will miss you so much, our warrior. You were such a fighter and you made us so proud. Forever screaming T - Strong!!
