After doing everything she needed to do in this earthly life, she returned to our heavenly home on the 8th of March, 2024. Gina was preparing for baptism into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints when she met her future husband. After 2 years of communicating through letters, she moved to the States and married the love of her life, Warren B Rose, in Elko, Nevada on June 16, 1972. They were later sealed in the Washington DC Temple in 1983. Gina has a Bachelor of Science in Education and later furthered her studies in both accounting and nursing. She worked as a Money Transfer and Investigations Agent in NYC for many years. She loved to travel and has been to Rome, Germany, France, England, and Israel. Her favorite vacation spot is Niagara Falls, Canada. She loved the water. She loved to just sit and look at it, whether along the Hudson River overlooking the NY skyline or on the beaches of Hawaii but she never went in. Gina especially loved her family. She had only 1 daughter, who then gave her 8 grandchildren. She loved having them around and has shared her love of traveling with each of them. She left NJ and moved to Utah (which she said she’d never do) just to be closer to them. Gina is a kind, warm, and loving wife, mother, and grandmother who has selflessly sacrificed so much to make sure her family was taken care of. No one could ever doubt her love for her family. Gina is dear to our hearts and she will be missed until the time we can see her again in the eternities. She is survived by her husband Warren; her daughter, Peggy (Jon); and her grandchildren, Jonny, Summer, Jacob, Sarah, Joshua, Emma, Ryan, and Jayden. She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and 4 sisters. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the Yellow Sage Ward in Riverton, Utah at 12:00 pm. A viewing will be held from 10:00 - 11:45 prior to services. Services are entrusted to the care of Serenity Funeral Home.
