Aricinda Riaños de Rambal, 72 passed away at her home in West Jordan, Utah, after a short battle with liver cancer January 27th, 2014. She was born in Cereté Cordoba Colombia August 19th, 1941 to Abraham Riaños and Carmen Corcho. She was the 4th of 13 children in her family. She completed high school in Colombia. Aricinda loved to travel and she moved from Colombia to Venezuela where she lived for many years before moving to Florida then Canada. Ending up in West Jordan, Utah. She Spoke Spanish and French. Aricinda married Antonio Rambal on March 9th 1963 in Cereté Cordoba Colombia. She loved to dance to Colombian music with her husband, she also loved to sew and share good times with her family at home. Aricinda is survived by her husband Antonio , her daughters Saydi Rambal (West Jordan, Utah), Marly Vaillancourt Rambal (Quebec Canada), and her son Fabio Rambal (Orem, Utah).Five grandchildren Kendrikc Rambal, Kiara Rambal, Alexy Vaillancourt Rambal, Andy Vaillancourt Rambal and Fabyen Vaillancourt Rambal. Aricinda's mother lives in Colombia with her 9 brothers, sisters, and extedended family. She was a faithful LDS member for 30 years and member of the Cobble Creek 5th (Spanish Ward) in West Jordan. She was a nurse, a lawyer, counselor, a mechanic technician, a seamstress, a interior decorator, and a comedian for the family. Aricinda was preceded in death by her father Abraham, sister Elvia, brother Alvaro, her dear grandfather Julio, as well as cousins and nieces. Service will be held at Cobble Creek 5th Ward, 5156 W Clay Hollow Ave (7860 S) West Jordan on Saturday February 1st, 2014. A Viewing will be from 9-10:45 am. Funeral will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be at 1:00 pm at the West Jordan City Cemetery The Rambal family is very grateful to all her friends, relatives and The Cobble Creek members for all their support in this moment.
