Carol A Berry Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Carol was born June 17, 1940 in Albion, Michigan to Pauline & Earl Christensen. Carol graduated from Albion High School in 1958. She later finished her education by earning her Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygienist program from Lansing Community College in 1984. Carol was a large advocate for Alcoholic’s Anonymous for over 39 years. This is one of her passions to where she has a large extended family and lifelong friends. She felt that is/was a way of living. Carol’s 2 other passions (LOVE’S), her man NEIL DIAMOND and MSU Sports (Basketball & Football, and let’s not forget her another guy Tom Izzo). She was also at one time the President of the Neil Diamond Fan Club. She has been all over the US to see Neil in concert. Carol bled Green & White. She worked across from the MSU Campus as a Dental Hygienist. This was an ideal place for her to work for her passion of MSU. Carol is proceeding in death by her parents, Pauline Christensen Bristow, Earl Christensen & son Timothy E. Berry. Carol is survived by her sister Mary and brother-in-law Richard (Dick) Daniels, also niece and nephew Rebecca (Becky) Young, Robert (Rob) Daniels of Coldwater, Michigan, daughter Julie (Julia) Berry-Smitten and husband John Smitten, Largo, Florida, granddaughter Gretchen L Jungert, husband Matthew Jungert and 2 Great grandchildren Isabel (Bel) & Caleb (Lub) of Salt Lake City, Utah. The Family wishes to extend their gratitude to her AA family for over 39 years of sobriety and the out pouring Love and Support they have given. For this is what has given her confidence and joy throughout those years of tough times to navigate through. The service for Carol a Berry will be held back in her home state of Michigan, Thursday May 4, 2017 @ 2p.m. at the MSU Alumni Chapel, 636 Auditorium Road, East Lansing, MI 48824.
