Debbi Lyn Reiser DeWitt Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Debbi loved to travel and on January 8, 2021 she took one last unexpected journey to return home to the arms of her Loving Father in heaven. She was greeted by many family members who have gone before. She was born on June 6, 1956 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She grew up second oldest in a household with six siblings. There was always constant activity and adventures. We loved to camp and boat as a family and she loved the water and sunshine. It is here she gained her love for the sun and adventures. She attended Skyline High School and it was there she met her eternal sweetheart, Robert DeWitt. They had a many great years together and had four wonderful sons. She experienced adventures with all the boys and traveled to far-off places. She has always been an outgoing person who loved to be with and help others. She spent her career in sales and was able to do the things she loved through her work. Her happiest work over 30 years, was donating her time, effort, talent, and energy to the Festival of Trees. After 37 years of marriage her eternal companion was called home leaving a big gap in her life and heart. She never let anything get her down and found herself searching for a new adventure. She traveled to many continents and went on many cruises, which was her favorite way to travel. She eventually found herself in England and it was there she was given a second chance of love and happiness. She met and married Robbie. She spent four years in the UK and was on a constant adventure visiting so many wonderful places and taking so many pictures. When Robbie passed in late 2019, she moved back to Utah to be with her grandchildren. Grandma Debbi (Papoo) loved spending time with her grandchildren. Kyler loved shopping online and putting together Legos with her. Ambree loved that she would always come to her games, cheering her on and loved how they would talk about traveling and the places Grandma had seen. Lily loved going to paint night with her and having her come to see her performances. Hunter loved being her Valentine’s date after Pa passed. Makinley loved shopping with her. Lukas was her little buddy and he loved going to the grocery store with her and helping her around the house. Koda and Kale loved cooking, making crafts, and having her come to their football games. Little Charlie loved being in the sun at the pool with her. Grandma was always communicating and connecting with the kids, either by text or with facebook messenger making them all feel a special bond with her. Grandma was able to spend New Years with her family playing games and having fun. Our last memories of Grandma will be ones we cherish forever. She is survived by a large loving family. Parents, Jim and Pat Craner; Sons, Matt (Marianne), Brent (Amy), Cam (Shae), Colby (Heather), Grandchildren Lily and Luke; Ambree and Hunter; Kyler, Makinley, and Charlie; Kale and Koda, Siblings, Steve (Cathy), Dianna, Ric (Jon), Kendal (Bill), Dan (Beth) and Jamie (Brad). Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who she considered family. Preceded in death by Richard Reiser (father), husbands Rob and Allister Garnham (Robbie), and brother in-law Lorne. We will miss her so much and are anxiously waiting for her to send us selfies. Graveside services will be held on January 21 at 2pm in the Tooele cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to attend but asked to wear masks and practice social distancing. The family will also be live streaming the service for those that cannot attend in person. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Primary Children’s Medical Center in her name.
