Devin was born to Brent William and Stacy Clark Criddle on March 3, 1995 where he instantly captured our hearts. Devin is the oldest of five children and always set a great example to his siblings. We will miss his loving disposition, great faith, big smile and loud laugh. His quick wit and sense of humor filled our home with lots of laughter. He found joy in loving and serving others. Devin has always had an eternally happy nature and excitement for life. Devin graduated from Alta High School in 2013 and was a student at Utah State University. He pursued so many interests. He has a great love for music and is an accomplished pianist. He loved playing video games with his family and friends. He enjoyed movies, especially if it was Disney, Marvel or Harry Potter, and he would often entertain us by quoting funny lines complete with perfect voice impersonations. He loved our family vacations, but his favorite part was the plane ride. He always wanted the window seat. One of his life-long interests was to fly a plane and had just recently decided to act upon that passion with an introductory flight and hope of becoming a pilot. Devin is remembered as a man of great faith with a deep love for the Savior. He served honorably in the West Virginia, Charleston Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints from 2013-2015. He loved his time as a missionary and was able to touch the lives of many people. We are grateful to all who influenced his life throughout that time. Our family has been so humbled by the tremendous outpouring of love, prayers and acts of service provided to us through friends, family, our incredible neighborhood, and even people we don’t know. We feel the loving arms of the Savior wrapped around us as we endure this heartache. We are grateful for our knowledge of eternal families and we know we will be reunited with Devin again. He can now fly without limits! We also want to thank the first responders and the kind Police Officers who had the tough job of relaying the accident to our family. Our prayers are with the family of Braedan Raleigh as we mourn together. Devin is survived by his parents, siblings (Jessica, Carlee, Caden, Brinley), his brother-in-law (Jensen Pratt), grandparents (JoAnne Criddle-Orr, Dave & Denise Clark), great grandparents (Bruce & Pat Hintze), aunts, uncles, and cousins. Devin is preceded in death by his grandpa Deon Criddle and his cousin Conner Covington. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of his life on Saturday June 5th 2021 at 12:00 PM at the Draper Meadows Stake Center (575 E 13800 S, Draper, UT). A visitation for family and friends will precede the service from 9:30 - 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens. Please share memories and condolence at www.serenityfhs.com
