Diane Barbara Gaede (Gile) Born August 16, 1940 in Rochester, New York. Married Cliff Gaede in Wichita Falls, Texas on June 8, 1963 and sealed in the Oakland California Temple February 3, 1973. Diane is survived by her husband, Clifford Dwayne Gaede and sons Richard Gaede, Robert Gaede (Ashley), Russell Gaede (Jennyfer), and adopted daughter Barbara Knowlden (Robert), 20 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many others who considered her mom or grandma. Preceded in death by her parents Ralph “Pop” Gile and Doris “Mimi” Small. Diane spent her life in the service of others. She and Cliff served a six-month home-service mission to the Dan Peterson Special Needs Seminary program for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Their mission lasted seven and a half years. She spent many many hours working on her genealogy which she loved. She helped many people get started doing their research. The last few years of her life her knees gave out but she still greatly enjoyed being on the computer in the apartment with her husband at The Ridge Foothill Assisted Living facility in Salt Lake City. Diane passed away on June 7th, 2022 in Murray, Utah. Funeral services will be held June 14th, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints ~ 688 West 500 North, American Fork, UT 84003. The viewing will begin at 9:30am with the services at 11am. She will be interned in Highland City Cemetery. Services will be live streamed on https://zoom.us/j/96534327520 beginning at 10:50am.
