George Washington Paullin Jr

September 8, 1934 - January 14, 2022

George Washington Paullin Jr. was born in Camden,New Jersey on September 8, 1934. He was born to Helen Adeline Shute and George Washington Paullin Sr. He has three sisters who have preceded him in death. He married Martha Gertrude Horisk on July 14, 1956. Together they had four children: Gail Helen Paullin, George Washington Paullin III, Clayton Christopher Paullin, and Elizabeth Ruth Paullin (Dan Davis). He was a medic in the New Jersey national guard for eight years. He then moved his family to California where he work at U.S. Steel in Torrance. In 1980 he transferred to Geneva Steel. He was captain of the rescue squad at both steel plants. He was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints and was later sealed to his wife in Provo temple. His wife Martha preceded him in death on February 2, 2008. George passed away suddenly on Friday 14th. He is survived by his four children, five grandchildren: Dana Davis Jr (Shanelle), Martha Davis, Kassandra Davis, Levi George Washington Paullin IV, Skye Davis. Also three great grandchildren: Kaemen Cook, Koa Davis, Indie Davis. He will be laid to rest beside his wife on January 21, at American Fork cemetery.
