“ I’m Fabulous-Marvelous and Wonderful” Glenn Louis Carroll Our loving husband, father, grandfather and brother 1937-2014 Glenn Louis Carroll passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the age of 76. He was born on August 3, 1937 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Mayo La Vell Carroll and Thelma Smith Carroll. He married his sweetheart, Carol Jean McDowell on July 6, 1960. They were later sealed in the L.D.S temple. Glenn was always active in community service ranging from Sandy Junior Chamber of Commerce, Board of Directors for White Tower Swimming Club, Managed Navajo Rainbow/ Summer Rainbow Inc., served on the state staff of the Utah Good Sams RV club and was on the advisory board for Camperworld. He was an active member in the LDS church and served on a mission to the central states mission. He held many church callings from ward clerk, assistant scout master, scout master and counselor in the bishopric. His favorite callings involved working with the youth. He enjoyed a long career working for Kennecott Copper as an Information Systems designer. He had a great passion for travel and loved his time spent with family and friends at Lake Powell or wherever the motorhome took him. Proceeded in death by 2 daughters, Glenda Jennings, Beverly Carroll. parents, sister Donna Farnsworth, brother M. Eugene Carroll and grandparents. Survived by his wife Carol Jean, Bryan Carroll (Nedra), Becky Ellis (Gary), Brenda Sjoblom (Boyd), Jennifer McIllece (Shawn), Son in-law Eddie Jennings, 17 grandkids and 14 great- grandkids. A special thanks to So. Mt Dialysis and Encompass home health care. A memorial service will be held Tues. Jan. 21 at 11:00 am at the Crescent Ridge 6th Ward 11180 S Londonderry Rd. Sandy, Utah. The family will receive guests Monday Jan. 20 from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm and prior to service on Tuesday from 9:30am to 10:45 am. Enjoy the open road you will be missed!
