Jason Paulo Platt Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Our beloved Jason Paulo Platt was born on October 13, 1978 and passed away on June 1, 2015. He was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to Lloyd E. and Josephine Johnson Platt with samba music playing in the background. He earned his Eagle Scout and graduated from East High School in Salt Lake City, Utah. He enjoyed music and doing architectural drawings. He also enjoyed thinking about people over time and earned a bachelor’s degree in history. He served an LDS mission in Chicago and the Portugal Lisbon Mission. Jason was a gentle soul who loved his family and friends and the beautiful world around him. He loved to be in forests, mountains, and canyons. Jason is survived by his parents, wife, Talia Platt, sons, Tyler Alan, Cameron John, and River Calvin Zane, stepdaughters Nailana Turner and Milla Angell, former wife, Sally Fernelius Wood, brothers and sisters, Brian (Tanya), Sheri (David) Tesseyman, Randy (Stacey), Russell (Mary Kay), Laura (Darrell) Davis, Tracy (Jennifer), Jeanetta (Colin) Robinson, Steven (Holly), David (Kaylene), Nathan (Paulette), and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at the Douglas Ward 721 South 1200 East SLC, UT on Friday, June 5 from 6-8 pm, funeral at the Douglas Ward Saturday June 6 at 10:30 am. Interment at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
