Joyce Carol Bacon Griffith born September 15, 1938 passed September 19, 2021. Joyce and Doyle attended the same schools and became high school sweethearts in 1954, then later married on August 17th, 1957 in the Los Angeles Temple. Joyce became a mother to 9 beautiful children. Joyce and Doyle celebrated their 64th anniversary and her 83rd birthday this year. She is preceded in death by her parents Howard And Mary Bacon and her Birth mom Florence as well as her sons Doyle R. Jr. and Ronald J. Griffith. She is survived by her husband Doyle R. Griffith Sr., and her children, Cindy L. Johnson, Howard T. Griffith, Michiale R. Marquez, Cherie’ C. Ward, Pamela D. Streeper, Joseph P. Griffith, and Daniel S. Griffith. When she was in high school she was on the flag team and was a part of other extra curricular activities. She was a poet and was the pianist for church. She was witty, charming, loving, kind and a faithful daughter of God. She struggled with several illnesses and endured without complaint. There are so many fond memories that family and friends have made with her. She truly knew the value of family and cherished us all and made each of us feel so special. She is missed by so many left behind and greeted in heaven by even more. We Love you! There will be a viewing on Thursday, September 23rd, from 6:00-8:00 pm at the L.D.S. Stake Center, located at 3175 S. 3450 W. West Valley City UT. 84119 There will be a graveside service on September 27th at 1:00 PM at the Los Osos Valley Memorial Park in San Luis Obispo, CA
