Karol Dee Schmidt

Karol Dee Schmidt, was taken from us too soon on Friday, August 21st, 2020. She was born August 2nd, 1961 to MaryAnn Schmidt and Gerald Huxhold Schmidt. She was a beloved mother to two beautiful and strong daughters Savannah Nieser and Melissa Carver. She was accompanied daily by her boyfriend of 9 years, Bruce Grubbs, and always surrounded with loving nieces and nephews such as Anjela, Bobbie (chad) turner Sabrina (Negro)Aguilar, Robert, and Jontue(Richard) Chavez Karol also enjoyed spending time with her great nieces and nephews Alicia, Alyzea, Anthony, Demetrio, Mia Nico, Azaray ,Bree,Bella , Elena , Esperanza, marissa , Kayla, Selena, Jersey, Xavier. She adored Her newest loved one Grayson. She is now rejoicing in heaven with her mother and father, Maryann Schmidt & Gerald Huxhold Schmidt and her beautiful sister Geraldine Loya-Schmidt To say Karol was loved by all is an understatement. Everyone who knew her or was was close to her could tell you the same thing.. whoever you were, if your path crossed hers, she would treat you as family. Karol kept a smile on everyone’s face and always made sure everyone was taken care of. She was like a mom to everyone. We will miss her every day for the rest of our time here on Earth, and we look forward to the day we will see her again. Love you beautiful angel. Friday the 28th @2PM: We will be holding a small viewing and memorial service for her for immediate family. At The Bridge Community Church 1284 West 75 North, Centerville, Utah. Saturday the 29th @1PM: We will be holding a Celebration of Life where everyone is welcome to attend. Lodestone Park Pavilion 6252 W 6200 S Salt Lake City, UT 84118 United States *We are doing potluck styled lunch, so please bring a dish of your choosing. We will have prayer and balloon release 4-5PM. Karol Schmidt was a ray of sunshine and light. She would love if everyone would wear her favorite color pink to both events. We appreciate Serenity Funeral Homes for all the help and support through this difficult time. We want to thank friends and family who contributed to make this a time for remembering a beautiful soul.
