King Mosaia Mateaki

February 14, 1939 - March 29, 2015

Kingi Mosaia Mateaki was born on February 14, 1939 in Mu’a Tatakamotonga, Tongatapu. Kingi immigrated to the United States in 1969. He has lived in California, Utah and Hawaii. Kingi married Sandra Youd in 1978 and she preceded him in death in 2002. Kingi will be remembered as someone who loved to serve his family and friends. He is survived by his daughters, Henrietta Anne and Noelani Green, and grandchildren, Nakita, Sarat Mosa, Noke, Sione, Matt, Nate, Nani, Sina, , Kingston and Mateaki. Funeral services for Kingi will be held on Tuesday, April 7th at the LDS Orem 8th Tongan ward located at 400 East and 400 North in Orem, Utah. The viewing will be held from 9:00 am-10:30 am, with funeral services from 11:00 am-12:10 pm. Kingi will be interred at Orem Cemetery on 1520 N 800 E. Services are under the direction of Peni Malohifo'ou of Serenity Funeral Home
