Lepeka Langitoto Malupo Rougeau passed away on Monday, September 6th, 2021 and was reunited with her parents, Paula and Lesieli Malupo, late siblings Elaine Malupo, BJ Reeves, her grandson Timote Fotu. Lepeka was born on July 20, 1962 in the Nuku’alofa hospital in Tonga. She is survived by her siblings Antilose Unga, Alifeleti Malupo, Samuela Malupo, Afataliki Malupo, Elaine Vimahi, Topui Fifita, and Kali Fifita. When Lepeka was 8 years old, she moved with her Mom to Hawaii where she grew up in Haleiwa and Eva Beach. She attended school in Haleiwa and later graduated from Campbell High school in 1980 in Eva Beach. After Lepeka graduated, she moved to San Mateo. Where she lived with her Aunty Sulieti and Uncle Ta’ani Nau and the rest of their family. Later Lepeka moved to Richmond, CA and was married to John Rougeau. She worked as manager at Longs Drug Store in El Cerrito. Lepeka was a hard worker and was dedicated. In 2005 Lepeka moved to Salt Lake City, UT where she gained more loved ones and became part of the Kaufusi/Fotu family. Lepeka grew to love Utah as it became her new home. Lepeka enjoyed spending time with family and being around those she loved. She worked for Walmart as a store planner and traveled to different locations to set them up. Lepeka’s most recent job was working for Uintah Forever Living as a Host Home Provider and a Direct Support Professional. She loved her job and was dedicated to her clients, whom she loved and cared for as family. Lepeka is survived by her children Amber Takishita, Lea’aesola Casey Sheppard(Amy) and Alifeleti Jr Malupo. Her grandkids Dezmond, Bronx, Sidney, Brody, Christine, Berlin, Heilala and Jaxson. Her pets Niele and Bowzer. If you knew Lepeka, she was all about her Moko’s. She was at every Christmas program, every football game and every family event. If Lepeka was here right now she would say “Go BINGHAM” She will truly be missed by so many and remembered by loved ones who will miss her dearly.
