Leroy "HARDROCK" ROYAL Kohl Our Grandpa was called back home to His Savior early last Saturday morn at the age of 83. He has been battling sickness since Christmas and has finally returned home to Paradise. No more pain, Grandpa. We All Miss you So Much already. We Love you. Born October 10, 1931; Royal Leroy Kohl was born in Elgin, North Dakota to Alexander & Esther Kohl. He was one of 5 kids. He served in the Army and fought for America in the Korean War. He is proceeded in death by his sister Inez and brother Myron and survived by his only love Mary Kohl, his Brother Allen and sister Opal, and his granddaughters whom he raised like his own children Amy (Solomone) Fonua and Amanda Giron and their children. His step children Grace Giron , pasty ( Sonny) Vigil, Vicki Giron , and his grandkids Jason vigil , Isaac ontiveros, sunny Giron, Jessica vigil, skyler Giron , Adriana Ontiveros, Manu Giron- Fonua , Joshua ( bubba) Giron , victor Giron , Maria Giron , Dominick and Alicia garza, mya Giron-Fonua, jabryel Giron-Fonua, royal Giron-garza, Alex vigil. HE WILL BE DEEPLY MISSED BY ALL WHO HAD THE PRIVILEGE OF KNOWING HIM. Services will be held in remembrance of him on Thursday February 12th, the viewing will be at 5pm and a rosary immediately following. A mass will be held on Friday February 13th at 11 am Both services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church 715 West 300 North SLC UT 84116. An Honor Gaurd Ceremony will follow where he will be laid to rest at Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
