Lisa Ann Burnside

Lisa Ann Burnside, 60, lost her battle with Cancer on December 10, 2024, in West Jordan, Utah, with family around her. She was born on June 10, 1964, in Murray, Utah to Glen and LeeAnna Tryon. She was the middle child of five, being the middle child, she had her parents wrapped around her little finger, she would get away with many shenanigans, she learned early how to get her way. She lived most of her life in Salt Lake and attended Granite High, she was married and later divorced and through that marriage she had two sons, Ronny and Chris. She moved to California where she met and fell in love with her life partner David. They later moved back to Utah where they currently reside. Lisa was well known as the “Pallet Auction Queen”, she had a big group of clients, she was so good at what she did, people would say “she could sell salt to a slug”. She would give everyone the best deal she could, especially people she became close to. She worked most of her life in fast food and managed many different stores around Salt Lake, one place in particular was the food court at the Cottonwood Mall as well as several around Salt Lake. Survived by: Life partner; David Lapow, Sons; Ronny Burnside, Chris Burnside; Siblings: Sharry Thomas (Mark), Bill Tryon (Desiree), Tori Robinson (Kelly) and Denice Hamby (Steve). Nephews & Nieces: Keven Thomas (Angela), DJ Burnside (Kim), Sean Burnside (Melissa), Brandon Burnside, Brandon Tryon (Haley), Joleean Slater, Doug Tryon (Melissa), Tara Anderson, Brandy Burnside (Kyle), Nicole Tryon, Tyler Burnside, Tiffany Rowland (Nick), Shantell Creekmore (Jamison), McKenzie Nelson, Joshua Hamby, McKayla Nelson, Angelique Thomas and 27 Great Nephews & Nieces. Aunts and Uncles: Gayle & Renny Brunatti, Eldon & Jenean Tryon and Judy & Lee Keeler Cousins: Patricia & Brent Crawley, Jill & Ross Stingley, Dale Albrecht, Bret & Tammy Albrecht, Bryon & Michelle Brunatti & Kristin & Van Neel She also had two bonus children: Bonus Son, Daniel Ditrick and Bonus Daughter Nina Atherton, along with too many to mention, you know who you are. Preceded in death by: Her parents, Grandparents: LeRoy & Marie Tryon, LeRoy & Alice Nelson, Aunt Patricia Albrecht , Uncle Darrell Albrecht and Cousin Bart Albrecht Per Lisa’s request, she wanted a celebration versus a funeral, so there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
