Lois was born April 8, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Hugh B. Graham and Lois Jarvis Graham. Lois was the youngest of 7 children and grew up in South Salt Lake. Lois played the flute and participated in many bands and orchestras throughout her life. She loved music; singing in choirs and conducting the music at church. She also enjoyed many other activities and became very good at them, such as gardening, painting, skiing, golf, tennis, and swimming. She was a good competitor. Lois attended Granite High School and University of Utah. Graduating from the University of Utah with a Major in Home Economics and Minors in Fashion Design and Sports. She married and was sealed to Archibald McNair Morrison Jr. They lived in Salt Lake City until Archie finished his degree in Mining Engineering from the U of U before moving to his first assignment in Dragerton, Utah. Later they built a home together in Colorado and raised their 7 children. Archie passed away in a mining accident in 1968 when Lois was 39. Lois then moved her family to Provo and later Murray, Utah. She worked in design and furniture sales while supporting her family during all their endeavors; sports, education, and LDS missions. Lois’ crowning attribute was her love of the gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She had a strong testimony. She encouraged her family to follow the commandments of Jesus Christ. Lois served an LDS mission in Florida and a service mission in Salt Lake City, Utah at the Church History Museum. She was well very rounded and used her God given talents well her entire life. Lois was a wonderful mother to her 7 children who survived her: David (Joyce), Marcie, Scott (Penny), Lisa (Russ), James (Dede), Jennifer (Mel), Stephanie (George) 28 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren, as well as her sister Lucile.
