Maria de la Luz Moreno
April 13, 1961 - June 16, 2018
Maria de la Luz Moreno (57), born April 13, 1961 passed away Saturday June 16, 2018; surrounded by her family and loved ones after her long battle with cancer. We are brought joy and peace knowing that, although we are deeply saddened with the loss of such a great soul; we are honored to have the memories of the life she led and the example she was to us and those that surrounded her. Born and raised in Acapulco, Mexico, Maria fulfilled her greatest role in life, being a mother, raising her five children and getting to watch them grow and become everything she wished for. She spent her life caring for others, ensuring they were nurtured and looked after; and was often found spreading this love for others with her amazing cooking, recipes and endless meals. No one ever left hungry or unhappy after spending time with Maria. Maria is preceded in death by her parents: Isidro Moreno and Maria de la Cruz, along with her sister Maria Anna Moreno. Maria is survived by her five children (Ramirez): Isidro (Michelle Mejia), Alexandra, Noe, Rocio and Saul; along with her two grandchildren: Nilce (Isidro) and Noe Alexandr (Noe). She is also survived by many other loved ones including siblings, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many other loved ones.
