Mosese Latu Leo, 68, returned to our Heavenly Father on December 14, 2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born March 17, 1948 in Leimatu’a, Vava’u, Tonga Island to the late Sione Latu and Losana Vao Ngatuvai Leo. Mosese married Deseret Wolfgramm for time and all eternity in the Logan, Utah temple on July 19, 1972. Mosese was a man of many talents. In his early years he developed a love for art work and was instrumental in painting and creating many displays and artwork for the schools he attended and many businesses in the islands. He loved to design and do art work on clothes as well. Mosese was a hardworking man. After moving here to the United States, he started working doing landscaping and yard maintenance. In September 1972, he started another career working for Packaging Corporation of America where he operated their corrugator. He loved and enjoyed working there and developed many friends. Mosese was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Saints. He served in various church callings including counselor in the Bishopric, Ward High Priest Group Leader and Stake High Councilor. He possessed a strong testimony and a love for the Savior. He was a man of integrity and was diligent in living the Gospel. Mosese was a devoted son, husband, father and grandfather. He not only loved his family but his in laws as well. He left behind so many friends and associates. He is survived by his wife Deseret, his children Ellen, Moses Jr. (Christine), Calvin Clark (son in law) and his grandson Exavier Aliki Leo (South Carolina). His brothers Simione (Japan), Viliami (New Zealand), Tevita Simou (Los Angles), Latani (Bay Area SFO). His sisters Eleni (Los Angeles) and Sivilaise (Tonga Is.). Preceded in death by his parents, a brother Soane and his daughter Kaeevan Clark. Viewings will held Wednesday, December 21st 2016, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Thursday 22nd from 9:00 am to 10:45 am. at the LDS Pioneer Stake Center located at 1401 West 700 South, Salt Lake City, Utah 84104. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am and the burial to follow at the Redwood Memorial Cemetery on 6500 So. Redwood Rd., West Jordan, Ut 84123 Services will be under the direction of Peni Malohifo’ou of the Serenity Funeral Home. We give special thanks to the St. Marks Hospital, the Intermountain Hospice and their staff for their care.
