March 23, 1937 - December 9, 2021
Taylorsville, Utah — Patricia June Gray (Martin), 84, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at her Assisted Living residence at in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. She is survived by two sons, Martin (Donna), and Gary (Donna); 13 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Bruce, daughter Gaylynn, and brother Lane. Patricia was born in San Francisco, CA, to William Martin and Zillah (Lane). As a young girl she moved to Salt Lake City. She graduated from South High School. She married her eternal companion, Bruce, on June 23, 1955 in the Salt Lake City Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They lived in many areas in the west as Bruce advanced in his career including SLC, Denver, Billings and Phoenix. Eventually they settled in Littleton, CO. Patricia was first and foremost a stay at home mom. She was always there for her kids. Bruce and Patricia helped when Gaylynn was ill; and also helped with grandchildren when needed. Her favorite hobbies included cooking, knitting, sewing and ceramics. She also loved clothes shopping and took care to always look great. She was a Sun Goddess and hated to be cold. Camping trips to McCall and cruising to warm places made her smile. In her later years, gratefully Patricia lived pain free. Due to Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, she was frequently tired and needed oxygen. She loved getting around in her Jazzy. She will be a legend at her assisted living center due to her “unique” driving skills...but she was insured! Patricia looked forward to seeing Gaylynn, Bruce, and all those who were waiting for her. She will be missed here until we all meet again. We Love You! A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Centennial, Colorado.
