Peletisara Mailei Loa

August 28, 1955 - June 24, 2021

Peletisara Mailei Loa also known as Sala, 65, of Kearns, a loving Husband, supportive Father and dedicated Papa- Passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family. He was born on August 28, 1955 in Vailoatai, American Samoa. He is survived by his Wife-Vahine Afemata Loa, daughters; Onolina (Olafou), Sierrah Loa, Senovefa(Mark Teleni) , Fa’afiuloto (Reuben Macomber); and his only son Sitau Loa. Sala was loved and blessed with a total of 16 grandchildren; 6 granddaughters (Siuvia T., Suva M., Siliah T., Si’ilei T., *Alofa L., and Edyn M.) and 10 grandsons (Folasa T., Sheldon M., Andrew L. Mark Jr. T., Amatagaoleolafou L., Peletisara L., Lotolelei T. Tulelevale L., Elijah M. and Blessing L.). Sala was the oldest of his siblings; brothers; *Sitau, Siota (Lea), Onesemo and Jacob (Vasati); and sisters, *Na’e, Fia, Vaefa (Filipo) and Therisa (Kiliona). He attended Leone High School in American Samoa for a few years and later transferred to The Wallace Rider-Farrington High located in Kalihi, Hawaii. Not long after he graduated highschool, he enlisted in The United States Army. On July 14th, 1977 He Graduated with honors and received his Certificate of Achievement for (AIT) Advanced Individual Training Military School. Dad loved and served his country. He was honorably discharged in 1984 and served for a total of 9 years. He is *preceded in death by his granddaughter Alofa Laolagi, his mother Faafiuloto Loa Moi, Lamaga Fareni Moi (Father), Sitau Moi (Brother), Na’e Moi (Sister), and many loved ones that have passed on before him. The services for our Beloved Husband, Father, and Papa will be held on: Saturday July 17th, 2021, Where: Heritage Stake Center - 7336 S 3200 W West Jordan, UT 84084. Family/Viewing Services-9:00 Bishop Service- 12:00 Following his services, He will be laid to rest at the West Jordan City Cemetery ( 7925 S 1300 W West Jordan,UT 84044)
