Richard Timothy Molitor passed away peacefully In his sleep after struggling with multiple illnesses, on November 27, 2013 in the comfort of his home. He was born on February 14, 1944 In Chicago, Illinois. Raised in Glen Ellyn, He graduated from Glenbard High School where he was active with the High School baseball team, his first true love. He lived in Southern California, while pursuing an accounting degree and volunteering time to be a Little League coach. He later moved to Utah in the early 80's. He spent his time being employed by the Salvation Army, practicing Tae Kwon Do, being an avid reader along with always keeping up with politics & baseball. One quote that comes to mind when thinking about Richard is his ability to "sell ice to Eskimos" he was a very charismatic man that was well liked by everyone he met. Richard death is preceded by his parents Richard & Elvira Molitor, Cousin David Rakos, neice Kelly Chapman & sweet Aunt Mary Molitor. (Illinois) He is survived by his three daughters, Jennifer Pearce Tx, Julie Molitor Ca, Jill Molitor-Fauth Az, His siblings Jerry Molitor NJ, and his wife Leigh, Barbara Grice UT, Peggy Mcmillan and husband Wayne, David Molitor and wife Liz, Patsy Molitor IL, Betsy Molitor FL, and seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to give their deepest thanks to Heartwood Home Health and Hospice for taking such exceptional care of our father in the final months of his life. Funeral Services will be on Saturday December 14th, 12 noon at Serenicare Funeral Home which is located at 12278 S. Lone Peak Prkwy #103, Draper UT.
