Robert Frederick Reynolds Jr.

May 23, 1952 - June 10, 2015

Robert Frederick Reynolds Jr. passed away at the age of 63 on Wednesday, June 10th, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Bobby was born May 23rd, 1952 in East Carbon, Utah to Robert and LaVay Reynolds. He married Sandra Nelson July 20th, 1974. Bobby is survived by his wife Sandy; father Robert; sister Linda; children: Michelle, Robby and Derek; grandchildren: Gage, Colby, Ryker, Lily and Zane; great-granddaughter Santana. Preceded in death by his mother LaVay. Bobby grew up in East Carbon Utah and as soon as he could walk he loved to explore the deserts of the San Rafael Swell, the mountains of the Tavaputs Plateau, Book Cliffs and the Manti-LaSals and more. Later in life Bobby continued to share his love with his wife and children, teaching them how to love and respect nature and wildlife. Bobby lived for his family! He raised 3 children alongside his wife of 41 years. “Papa” wanted nothing more than to spend as much time as possible with his grandchildren. Bobby started his working career at Standard Builders Supply until he was hired with the Jordan School District as their head locksmith (the key man) where he devoted 42 years of his expertise and met his wife and acquired many, many close friends. Bobby loved playing sports. Any sport he tried he was a natural. He played baseball, tennis and bowling for East Carbon High School. Bobby’s greatest love was golf. He participated in and ran a golf league for many years. Bobby also had a great passion for hunting and fishing. When it came to archery, he was a regular old Robin Hood. Bobby, “Papa”, will be forever loved and remembered by his family and many close friends. We love and miss you Papa. Bobby’s wife, Sandy, and their 3 children would be honored to invite family members and his many friends to join us for a beautiful celebration evening of his life which he lived and loved with passion on Friday, June 26th from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the River Oaks Golf Course, 9300 Riverside Drive in Sandy. Informal dress. We look forward to meet and greet each of you.
