Robyn Lyn McNeel

Robyn Lyn McNeel, (53) Our beautiful angel passed away April 14, 2016 at her home in West Valley City, in the arms of those who loved her most. She was born March 31, 1963 in San Pedro, California, to parents Ila Joan Pendleton and Bill Gene Rexroat. At the age of four she was blessed with a loving stepfather, Steven Richard Diamond. She married Troy Lynn Kendall on November 10, 1980. This marriage blessed her with two beautiful children, Jennifer Nicole and Troy Justin. Although the marriage ended, the two remained friends and co-parents. Robyn married the love of her life, Thomas William McNeel on August 31, 1990. They shared 26 happy years together. Through this marriage she was blessed with two step-children, Brandon William and Chasity Marie. This completed the family unit that meant more to her than anything else in this world. Her greatest joys in life were her family and friends, her puppies, her garden, and being of service to others. It seemed that every day she was busy with a project meant to make someone else happy. She found great peace and happiness working in her yard, which was always beautiful. She was the best Grandma that ever there was, and she loved her Grandchildren with such intensity that the mark of her love will never fade. Robyn was feisty, fun, and could always make you laugh. She had a big heart and she loved and cared for others without discrimination or judgment. There is no way to adequately express how much she impacted the lives of the people she knew. Robyn was a fighter and a survivor. She bravely battled her cancer for four and a half years. She was taken from us far too soon, and we will miss her more than words could ever express. Left behind to cherish her memory are her Husband, Thomas and Children, Jennifer (Jared), Troy, Brandon and Chasity (Chris). Grandchildren, Skyler, Taylor, Kaiden, Ashtyn, Chloe and Haylee. Parents, Steven and Joan Diamond. Father, Bill Rexroat (Connie). Siblings Cheryl, Alisha, Greg, Mike (Jennifer) and Debbie (Josh). Many loving Nieces and Nephews. Her dearest friend, Camille (Paul). And her puppies, Mattie and Molly. She will be welcomed into heaven by her guardian angel, Isla Dorothy Hightower (Grandma Babo), Her Grandmother, Lois Barton Ellsworth and Grandfather William Columbus Pendleton. She will also be happy to be reunited with her favorite puppy, Bella. A family viewing will be held at The Paradise Wardhouse (1565 Lovely Road. Taylorsville), Wednesday, April 20th from 6 – 8 pm. Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at Magnolia Grove (1117 W. South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan), Saturday, April 23 from 4 – 8 pm. The family would like to express our sincerest gratitude to all of the people who supported Robyn throughout her life and her battle with this awful disease. She was truly a blessed woman.
