Ryan & Evelyn "Evee" Chambers

February 11, 1985 - August 23, 2015

Ryan Craig Chambers, age 30, returned back to his loving Heavenly Father with his beautiful daughter Evee on August 23, 2015. He was born February 11, 1985, in Ogden Utah to Rodney and Christine Chambers. Ryan grew up in North Ogden roaming the foothills of Ben Lomond climbing trees and building twine huts. He attended Weber High School where he was the keeper for the soccer team. He served an honorable full time LDS mission in Malaga, Spain and continued to serve the Lord faithfully. He served as a primary teacher and was loved by all of the children. Ryan was sealed to his sweetheart Alyssa Gleaves for time and eternity in the Bountiful Utah Temple on February 7, 2007. The two had a short courtship after they met and experienced love at first sight. Both had told friends and family they knew they had met their soul mate. The two were of the same mould spiritually, emotionally, and in their goals for the future. Their love for each other was very apparent to those that were lucky enough to know them as a couple. They truly loved and supported each other no matter what. He graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. He lived in Layton and worked at Davis Hospital as an Eligibility Specialist. Ryan was also a co-owner of Elite Pre Need selling funeral plans with his business partner and friend, Travis Toone. Ryan loved life and got the most out of it. He was outgoing and adventurous, always ready to climb the next tallest peak or try the newest cut trail. He was an incredible artist and saw the beauty in everything, willing to take a few seconds to capture the perfect picture of the sunrise, or the way the light shown through the grove of aspen trees. He was an amazing example as a husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Ryan’s wife and 2 daughters love and adore him, and he them. Ryan would make his girls try and do hard things. He made them tough. Evee was the pea to Ryan’s pod. She was Ryan’s shadow no matter the activity. He enjoyed traveling with his family, archery hunting, and eating sushi. He loved the outdoors and spent a lot of his time mountain biking, hiking and camping. Their puppy Archer was their newest addition to the family, a loyal companion that always stayed at Ryan’s feet. Ryan is survived by his wife Alyssa and daughter Kaya, parents Rod and Chris, brothers Dallin (Jessica) and Trevor (Kait), sisters Kaycee and Karie, grandparents Sherm and Nancy Barker, Marva Chambers, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws Kevin and Wendi Gleaves. Preceded in death by his grandpa Lionel Chambers, and grandma Linda Barker.. Viewing will be held at the North Ogden East Stake Center, 900 E. 2850 N. in North Ogden, on Wednesday September 2 from 5-8 pm, and Thursday morning from 9-10:30. Funeral service will follow at 11. Ryan and Evee will be buried together at the Ben Lomond Cemetery. A special thank you to the first responders, medical staff, Serenity Funeral Home, David Bott (Mark H. Bott Co.), and all family, friends and community for their love, support, and prayers. Ryan was a great example and left a lasting impression on all of us. He will be truely missed. LOVE YA BRO! #Getontherightpath Evelyn Christine Chambers, age 4, our precious blonde angel, returned home to the arms of her loving Heavenly Father on August 23, 2015. Evee was born on January 7, 2011 in Ogden Utah to Ryan and Alyssa Chambers. Evee was the sweetest little ball of energy. She had the greatest sense of humor and loved making people laugh. We all loved the way she would raise her eyebrows and her eyes would get really big and twinkle when she was telling you a good story. She was so full of life and was always up for anything, just like her dad. Evee loved to spin and she would call to her mom, “Check out my spin mom!” If there was mud or water nearby, Evee would find it. Evee was our sweet little daredevil. Her dad wanted her to be tough and was always convincing her to try new, adventurous, and sometimes scary things; and she was always up for it. Her parents taught her and Kaya to be confident, have a positive attitude and always turn towards God. She truly was so happy all of the time and always had a smile and a big bearhug for everyone. She was a pure joy to be around. Evee loved spending time with her family, whether it was in the outdoors biking, camping, cruising on her scooter, and fishing. Or indoors watching a movie, playing with her dinosaurs, or playing dressups and painting nails with her sister. She loved doing crafts and art projects with her mom and Kaya and always made sure to complete her project. She loved being with her mom, dad, and her best friend and sister Kaya. She also loved squeezing and roughhousing with her puppy Archer. Evee’s favorite color was pink. She loved peanut butter on a spoon. She loved going out to “hoohee” (sushi) with her whole family, which was a love she definitely shared with her dad. Evee loved sunbeams and her favorite primary song was “I Know That My Savior Loves Me.” She brought joy to our lives every single day. Evee-bee we love you so much and can’t wait until the beautiful day when we can see you again. Evee is survived by her mom Alyssa, sister Kaya, grandparents Rodney and Christine Chambers, and Kevin and Wendi Gleaves. Aunts and Uncles: Dallin (Jessica), Trevor (Kait), Kaycee and Karie Chambers; Amanda (Alan) Jolley, and Garrett Gleaves. Cousins: Shae and Capri Chambers, Jaida, Zachary, and Ashton Jolley. Evee will be buried in the arms of her loving dad, Ryan. They will have a combined funeral service on Thursday, September 3rd.
