Shauna Slavens Polson, 58, of Firth Idaho passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on the afternoon of Sunday, January 5th in West Jordan, Utah after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Salt Lake City to Harry Simmons and the late Luana Larsen on June 7, 1961. Shauna is survived by her children Adam, Alexa, and Tanner from her marriage to the late James K Slavens; her husband Arthur and step children Derek, Garrett, Justin, and Jennifer as well as her father Harry and sisters Karrie, Christi, Robin, and Jackie. She lived a rich life full of hard work, bargain shopping, Diet Pepsi, and spoiling her grandkids. Shauna will forever be remembered for her break out cheer routines, her obsession with recycling, and her ability to make everyone around her feel loved and important. A celebration of life will be held in Shauna’s honor at 744 n 600 e Firth, Idaho 83236 on Friday, Jan. 10th at 6:00PM. Her viewing will be held on Sat.
