Valeria Guadalupe Gabrielsen Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Valeria Guadalupe Samaniego Loza Gabrielsen age 33 passed away on November 27, 2020 in a tragic car accident in Magna Utah. Valerie was born December 11, 1986 in Mazatlan Sinaloa, Mexico to Celia Loza Arce and Roberto Samaniego Gardea. She spent her childhood in Villa Juarez, Sinaloa. Valarie was born with an adventurous spirt. As a teenager she left her home and family and moved to Atlanta Georgia. She started her family with Roque Salazar where they were soon blessed with their first son Stephen Frederick Salazar. Soon after his birth they moved to Salt Lake City Utah where her second son James Paris Salazar was born. As a family they joined the LDS church. Determined to finish her education Valarie attended a young mothers educational program thru Granite School District as well as selected college courses. She divorced Roque shortly after James was born. Valarie worked in the Restaurant industry as well as a local car dealership. She met her husband Troy Gabrielsen on a chance meeting at this dealership. They fell in love and were married June 21, 2014. In March 2020 she was blessed with a beautiful baby girl Victoria Isabel Gabrielsen. Valarie was a free spirit. She loved nature and liked to be outdoors where she would take the kids and friends for exciting fun hikes. Hunting for and collecting rocks were some of her favorite passions. She and Troy loved going to the family vacation home in Alton Utah where they created many wonderful memories together with their kids and sweet dog Sally. Valarie was also an accomplished artist who liked to paint and make jewelry. Valarie is survived by her husband David Troy Gabrielsen. Her children Stephen, James and Victoria. Her parents Celia Loza Arce and Roberto Samaniego Gardea. Her sisters Wendy Samaniego and Vanessa Samaniego. Troy loved his Valarie. She will be greatly missed by him and many other friends and family members who will gather to remember her at a funeral held December 5, 2020 in Draper Utah. Valarie will then be flown to Mexico where her family will receive her and gather in a celebration of her life. In a future date she will be laid to rest in Utah.
