Viliami Makamaile Tu'akoi

December 14, 1924 - January 18, 2014

Born: Dec. 14, 1924 Died: Jan. 17, 2014 Viliami Makamaile Tu’akoi, son of Paula Fe’ofa’aki Tu’akoi and Fipe Taeao Fehoko Motu’apuaka. He passed away quietly surrounded by his family. Viliami was loved very much by his posterity. He was faithful in his callings and counted a blessing to belong to the True Gospel of Jesus Christ. He shared many talents with his children and grandchildren in Singing, speaking, dancing, giving all that he has to help others, but very famous for his Faikakai Lolo. He was a very hard working man to provide for his family and neighbors. We will miss his handsome infectious smile. His last council to his family is to “Love one another, Listen to the leaders of the church and Endure to the end, the only way to return and be together again. Married to: Lisia Vea (1944-1959), Mele Hosea (1960-1989), Noma Bloomfield Viliami's Posterity: 'Isapeli 'Oto’ota 'Ehau Finau (Suliasi Finau),Melesisi Hopoate (Viliami Hopoate) Semisi 'Alusa Hosea (Pasepa Lolohea),Sione Kongaika Tu’akoi ( Latu Fie’eiki) Melevi Vao Tu’akoi, 'Osamu Hosea, Meliame Palu Manu (Konilati Manu) Lesieli Fine Uyema (Clarence S. Uyema), Makamaile Tu’akoi (Sela Langi) Manase Fehoko Tu’akoi (Polu Lomu), Papasila Makanesi (Kavakehe Makanesi) 76 grandchildren and 156 great- grandchildren; He was proceeded in death by his brother Mosese Tu’akoi, and daughter 'Isapeli 'Oto’ota Finau, sons 'Osamu Hosea and Semisi Hosea, and wives Lisia Vea, Mele Hosea. Friends and family may visit Friday January 24, 2014 at the Salt Lake Tongan North Stake Center 3350 South 4440 West . From 5-10 pm. Prior to services on Saturday morning view 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Service at 1:00-2:00 pm. Burial 3:00 pm at the Redwood cemetery. Thanks to the Serenity Funeral Home for the funeral services. Many thanks to the Angels Crossing Hospice Care for their love and kindness to care for Pa in his last days. Services under the direction of Peni Malohifo'ou of Serenity Funeral Home Draper Utah
