William "Bill" Del Stone

William Del Stone, most often known as Bill and Billy for those closest to him, was born on Monday, June 30th, 1969, passing too soon on Friday, September 27th, 2024. Bill began his journey in Fairbanks, Alaska, born to Peggy Seay and Billy Roy Williams. He loved his Alaskan heritage and embodied it fully, living a wild and free life in so many ways. He left home young to take on the world, traveling to many places and ultimately to his chosen family. Bill met and married his first and wonderful wife, Angie and took on the responsibility for her incredible daughter, Lexi. Later they would go on to have a child of their own, Alex, who Bill could not have been prouder of. Bill loved his role as a father and took every opportunity to show his family that he would do anything for them. After some time, Bill and Angie parted in marriage, remaining friends and shared so much love for their children. One of Bill’s journeys led him to Cyndi, together they wed in April of 2021. They shared many hobbies and took every opportunity they could to embark on adventures, large and small, together. Bill will be readily remembered and often storied for the free-spirited way he lived his life; he truly knew how to have and create fun. He was often silly, never afraid of what others thought and encouraged that bravery in others. When we talk of Bill, if we’re not sharing a funny anecdote, we will always be speaking about his incredible work ethic. To his core, he was self-sufficient and wanted to help those around him to be as well. Thoughtful in so many ways, his mission was to help others in whatever capacity he could. Bill was a treasure hunter, he had a knack for finding the most amazing things that were quickly dubbed, “Bill-finds.” He had a way of seeing things that no one else quite could and used this talent to bring those he loved so much joy. He had a way of putting a smile on your face, sharing laughs and true emotion through his countless poems and stories. Bill was a member of the LDS church, he loved riding on his motorcycle, fishing, being on the ocean, and doing what he could to make others smile. In his earlier years he drove truck in Alaska and across the country. He was self-sufficient owning his own business,” Go Green” where he was an arborist and loved doing what he did. Bill is survived by his wife, Cyndi, his son, Alex, step- daughter, Lexi, his former wife Angie, closest friends Sean and JB and the Stanislavsy family. Bill was preceded in death by his father Billy Roy Williams and his son Noah. Those closest to Bill through his many travels will be sharing tall-tale worthy stories for years to come, he lived and loved up until his passing day and will be deeply missed. In celebration of Bill's life, a funeral service will be on Wednesday October 9, 2024 at the LDS church on 5349 West 9000 South, West Jordan Utah 84088. Viewing will be held from 11:00 - 11:40, funeral service will be held from 12:00- 1:00. As Bill would say, Peace, Love, & Happiness.
