November 13, 1991 - March 9, 2021
The family of the vibrant, loving Zackary Cashe Harris is missing a piece of our hearts with the loss of Zack. Zack was the first son to Pogi and Merilyn Harris on November 13, 1991. He is the oldest brother to Chance (Makensey) and Bailey (Dallas) whom he loves dearly, yet tormented relentlessly. Zack is the father to a beautiful daughter, Holly Brooke whom he loved and cherished more than life itself. She was his motivation to continue his courageous fight with cancer. Even though miles separated Zack from many of his close family and friends he always looked forward to time together and enjoyed every moment spent with loved ones. Zack’s passions have always been the great outdoors including; camping, fishing, and backpacking. He had his furry little friend, Annie, who was always by his side. His greatest enjoyment in the past few years was to be on the mountain as much as possible. This is where he found the most peace and felt closest to God. Zack also loved to laugh and was the life of the party never missing a chance to make his presence known with his quick wit and humor. Zack’s love of baseball started at an early age. It is through baseball that Zack formed life long friendships where some of his most fond memories were made. He was a very skilled baseball player at Riverton High School and continued his love for the game at Mesa State University in Grand Junction Colorado. Those who knew Zack best were lucky enough to be embraced by his most comforting hugs. Zack had a warm, radiant smile to go along with his big heart. Through his health challenges, Zack learned the art of loving and accepting people for who they were, unconditionally. He never missed the opportunity to let those around him know how much he loved them and appreciated their support. Zack returned home to the loving arms of our savior on March 9, 2021 in his home surrounded by many loved ones. Services will be held March 27, 2021 at 14398 South 6400 West Herriman, Utah 84096. There will be a visitation hour at 11am followed by funeral services at 12pm. After services the family invites you to a luncheon generously provided by the relief society of the Rose Canyon 8th ward.
