She was surrounded by her eight children, whom she loved dearly. Aura was a woman of quiet strength, deep compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family and everyone around her. Throughout her long life, she touched countless lives with her kindness, resilience, gentle spirit, and sense of humor. She created a home filled with warmth, faith, and love, and her presence brought comfort to all who knew her. A convert and pioneer of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Managua, Nicaragua, Aura lived her faith with humility and conviction. Her example of service, perseverance, and love continues to inspire her family and all who were blessed to know her. She will be remembered for her generosity, her patience, and the way she always put others before herself. Aura’s legacy lives on in the values she instilled, the memories she created, and the love she shared so freely. Aura is survived by her children, grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Roger Zelaya. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 6500 S. Dixie Dr., West Jordan, UT 84084. The family invites friends and loved ones to join in honoring Aura’s life and celebrating the impact she had on all who knew her.
