Jorge Alejandro Estrada

With heavy hearts we announced the passing of our beloved son, brother, father Jorge Alejandro “Guero” Estrada. He was 29 years old, he peacefully passed away on April 21, 2026 at Intermountain Medical Center. He was born in Salt Lake City Utah but raised in Midvale Utah. Jorge was known as “Guero” he was the oldest of 7 children, and a father of a beautiful little boy named Remmy Alejandro. Remmy was his entire world, he was the center of his hopes, his decisions, and his dreams. Remmy is his deepest love. Jorge poured himself into fatherhood with pride and tenderness to create a beautiful life for his son, he made sure he received nothing but love, joy, and endless memories along with building a beautiful unbreakable bond. Jorge loved fishing, spending time with his loved ones, going on road trips, etc. He was the funniest person in the room, the one who always made sure his loved ones were good before himself. One thing about Jorge; that everyone loved is his devotion to always find the good in the bad, that no matter how hard life is, there will always be light at the end of the tunnel. The love Jorge had for his family was the foundation of his life, and nowhere was that more evident than in the bond he shared with his siblings. He gave each of his sibling's nicknames that they will never forget and forever hold onto, so they had a reminder of how much he loved every single one of them. “Binky” was for his little brother Geo who became his best friend and better half, “Koba” was for his brother Edwin who was his rock, and “Jetski”, “Wayne” were the ones he chose for his little baby brothers Jesse and Gadi. He carried the responsibility of being a big brother yes, but also the responsibility of being the protector over his boys and the one man they can rely on no matter what life through at them and made sure they understood that they are never alone. “Pona” was for his sister Yas, who was born after him; sharing the earliest chapters of his life and his closest campion who he shared unforgettable memories with, love, and laughter. “Güera” for his sister Julie who he loved very much. His mother, who he called “Chama” was his entire universe. He was the beginning of her journey as a mother, first person to make her heart grow in ways she had never known. He is the one who will forever carry a piece of her, that created a bond so deep between them. He was her pride, strength, and the reflection of the loved she poured into her family. He has left a huge void in her heart, but she knows that she will forever have a guardian angel who will continue to watch over her. She will always remember him for being the life of the party and the person who made an entire room of room of people laugh and smile. He also made sure he left a piece of him here on Earth, the first grandbaby, his son, who she will always love, protect, and care for in his honor. To his friends, if you are reading this then I am no longer there to say these things myself, but I hope you can still hear me in them. Thank you for being a part of my life, truly. You were not just friends to me you were piece of the life I loved, the laughter I held onto, the memories that made everything feel full. Some of my best moments were because of you, and I will carry those with me every single day. Don’t be too heavy with the sadness, I know it will always be there and it matters but so did the joy, jokes, random conversations we had with one another, the late nights out, plus the times we didn’t even need words. That’s what I want you guys to hold onto, take care of each other, always check in, show up for each other and don’t wait for the “right time” to say something kind or spend time together. Life moves fast, you know that now more than ever, so hold onto to the people you love while you can. I love you all. Jorge is survived by his mother, Erika Estrada. His sisters; Yasmin Estrada and Juliana Estrada. His little brothers; Edwin Estrada, Geovani Estrada, Jesse Estrada, and Gadiel Estrada. Mass services will be held at 11:00am – 12:00pm on Tuesday, April 28 at Saint Joseph the Worker Catholic Church 7405 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan, UT 84084. Funeral mass: 12:00pm-1:00pm Graveside Services will be West Jordan City Cemetery at 1:45pm 7925 S 1300 W West Jordan, Utah 84088
