Judy Best Beaumont

On June 23, 2026, Judy Irene Best Beaumont joyfully embraced her Savior Jesus Christ, her parents, other beloved family members, and dear friends. She was surrounded by family and passed peacefully in her sleep in Grantsville, Utah. Judy was born in Provo, Utah on November 27, 1948, to Elaine (Park) and Joseph Best. She is the fifth of seven children. Growing up in Provo and Orem, she spent her childhood dreaming of horses, learning to sew and craft, babysitting for money to buy music records, and making lifelong friends. From a young age, Judy had the ability to draw people to her. She is a sincere, loving, and caring friend. She made and kept dear friends from Windsor Elementary for the rest of her life. She graduated from Orem High School in 1967. Judy married Keith Beaumont on November 18, 1967, in the St. George Utah Temple. They moved to Beaver, Utah and raised six children together, teaching them about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Judy chose to spend her time surrounded by her children. They would play word and card games, picnic in the mountains, and enjoy movie nights and popcorn together. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing clothes and blankets, cross stitching, and making Christmas ornaments for her children and grandchildren. Some of her favorite creations are peacocks, sky blue pink sunsets, Christmas ornaments, music from the 60s, and all her pets, including birds, cats, horses, and dogs, especially Kizzy. Judy is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. She has served in Relief Society presidencies, and as a Sunday school and primary teacher. Inspired by a granddaughter this January, she committed to read her Book of Mormon once again. As her health changed in February, she quickened the pace, even reading during a couple of hospitalizations, making sure she finished in time. She completed it by the end of March. Judy has a strong testimony of personal prayer and the power of the priesthood. She has often effectively used prayer to invite the Holy Spirit to come comfort and protect her and her family. She dearly loves Jesus, her family, and her many friends. Judy will best be remembered for her Christmas fudge, back scratches and tickles, candy box, joyful laughter, sweet and kind personality, and her unfaltering faith in Jesus Christ. Judy has been reunited with her parents, Joseph and Elaine Best; her sister, Sharlene Adams; her brothers, David Joel and Michael; her son-in-law, Jeff Winder; and her granddaughter, Lilee Beaumont. She is survived by her children, Tamera Robinson (Greg), Troy Beaumont (Amy), Lora Saldana (Jose), Mindee Williams (Lee), Charity Farmer (Matthew), Rebecca Winder (Jeff); 36 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and her brothers, Gary Best (Shirlee), Reed Best (Luana), and John Best (Julie). Memorial services will be Friday, June 26, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1250 E 200 S, Pleasant Grove, Utah. Viewing will be from 9:00 to 10:30 AM. Interment will be at the Orem City Cemetery in Orem, Utah. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your ward missionary fund or local church.
