“There’s a magic that’s yours, and it’s like nothing else. It’s something you shared just by being yourself” The days seem longer since you left us on Nov. 6th in the early morning. Life has slowed down without you, now searching to fill the void. You came into our lives and gave us a purpose and to our surprise we became more patient and considerate toward others and you. We became the Butterfield tribe. I miss and reflect on those sleepless nights, taking care of you, our long morning routines, your contagious laugh, Glad ware lids, Cereal Bags and all the controlling things that made you, you. There will never be another as wonderfully all encompassing & unique as YOU! Our home will never be the same and nor will we. There was so much laughter between the tears, losing you hurts so much because we loved you do deeply. Now what remains is a sense of peace that you passed easily, and our hearts are full of the time we shared. Ooooooo, I love you, Kim His village; Kimberly, Cody, Miley, Harley Butterfield and little Cody and all extended family members and those who loved him. Nickolai loved being anywhere his village was. He developed relationships in his way, with people who found their special way to engage and gain his trust. Nickolai had an incredible relationship with Miley and Harley from the time they were very born. He was fiercely protective of them, and nothing brightened his day more than their snuggles, rough play and interaction with him. Nickolai’s laugh and “shake a leg” let others know he was the happiest he could be. He’s like a Bear and shows he loves you with a slap, sorry tickle and another slap! His relationship with Kim was truly extraordinary! Nickolai relied highly on her and trusted her in every way. She was his strongest advocate for his health, happiness and life experiences. Nickolai loved teasing, camping, riding 4-wheelers, washboard roads,bounce houses, escalators, playing on the trampoline, being anywhere mom was, oh and the car wash. A million memories! Special Thank you to those who were an intricate a part in Nickolais Life Kathlean, Kristine, Lori, Sharon, Ashleigh,Jamie,Demi, Atalee, Paul,Yahel, Chrysalis Team and so many others.
