Ofa Louise Hadley Patocka

(Ofa) Louise Hadley Patocka passed away peacefully in her home (Sandy, Utah) surrounded by her loved ones on January 27, 2024. Louise was born January 16, 1949 in Vernal, Utah to Clifford and Mildred Hadley. She was married to Don Patocka January 29, 1972 in Sandy, Utah. Later their marriage was solemnized in the LDS Temple in Draper, Utah on June 27, 2014. Louise took immense joy in being a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Some of her greatest acts of service were countless hours spent caring for her mother and chasing trains with her brother KaDon. She enjoyed taking trips to the Oregon Coast with her mom any chance she could get. She was the only daughter of six and was the family princess, but really all she wanted was to be one of the boys. Louise had an insatiable love for music. She served as the Ward Chorister for several decades, she substituted as the Relief Society Chorister for about 20 years, and she served as Primary Chorister for a time. Don and Louise served a 2 year service mission for the LDS Church where she was the Branch Chorister. She also sang in many different choirs throughout her life including Ward and Stake Choir. She enjoyed crocheting snowflakes for Christmas trees for everyone, Doilies for various weddings and for her girls. Every year she cross-stitched Christmas ornaments for all her grandchildren and if that was not enough, she also took the time to handmake Christmas cards every year. Louise is survived by her husband Donald Patocka. Children Cindy (Jeremy) Hansen, Clint Patocka, Angela (Glenn) Mortensen, Erich Patocka, Amber (Craig) Roberts, Kris (Emily) Tanner 20 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grand Daughter. Brothers Raymond (Marylee) Hadley, Kevin (Lisa) Hadley, Blane (Kim) Hadley. Sister-in-law Carol Hadley. Brother-in-law Tom (Dow) Patocka. Various Nieces and Nephews Numerous unofficially adopted children grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by Daughter Molly Tanner Her Parents Clifford and Mildred Hadley. Brothers Milton Hadley and KaDon Hadley. Services will be held on Friday February 2, 2024. Visitation from 5:00 pm to 5:45 pm Service at 6:00 pm. at the LDS Stake House at 1050 E. 10600 So.
